Billboards do an excellent job of reaching the general population, and can capture the attention of individuals who would not be reached otherwise. Outdoor advertising broadcasts the mission of a non-profit and can rally diverse groups around a single cause. At risk populations are especially hard to target with traditional media, but a billboard is a simple and effective way to convey healthy behaviors and sources of treatment. Outdoor advertising can be grant funded and an important element in sustaining any non-profit’s message though recall of effective outdoor copy.
