Step 7 – Deliverables
FULL ARTWORK ‐ (print ready)
When sending Meadow a file that you consider ready to print to a vinyl, please follow these instructions:
1. Convert all text to outlines or curves.
2. Build your file at 1 inch = 1 foot scale PLEASE DO NOT SEND OVERBUILT FILES!!!
3. Make certain your design is at least 1/2 inch from the edge of the live area on all
sides (this will prevent your design from overlapping the side and back of the billboard)
4. Add six (6) inches of bleed (background color) to the live area ‐ this area will be printed
but it will wrap around the edges and back of the billboard.
5. Send rastered or bitmap images at 300 dpi.
6. CONVERT YOUR FILES TO CMYK COLOR!!!! If color shade is important to you, PLEASE
indicate the CMYK colors you are using. We cannot guarantee a color match unless
you tell us exactly what colors are being used ‐ Screen colors do not match printed
colors exactly.
Please provide your file in the following format:
PDF, CDR or TIFF files
*IF YOU WISH TO PROVIDE A DIFFERENT FORMAT, PLEASE CALL FIRST TO CONFIRM THAT IT IS A FORMAT WE CAN USE!
***WE CANNOT ACCEPT ‐ Microsoft Word, Word Art, Publisher, Power Point, or Frontpage files***
You can send your ideas using that format, but do not build the art with them. If you are using these formats, please send us the individual elements, logos, photos, clipart, etc. and we will build the design for you.
Also Note:
• Large files should be converted to .sit or .zip files.
• If you send MAC files ‐ please indicate that these are MAC files to your salesperson.
• Include low resolution .jpg files for layout reference
Sending us your file
There are several methods of sending us your file:
1. You can upload the file to our ftp site – Click here for link to our ftp site: UPLOAD FILE
2. You can send 1GB or smaller for free using www.yousendit.com.
Then send the file to your sales representative.
3. You can send small files directly to your sales representative.
4. You can send us a disk
